Can't say I like it. It makes it sound as though oh, poor W has just had a really rough year, when in fact he caused most of the problems that he's now "suffering" from.
And I'm not thrilled about gay marriage being equated with political malfeasance and natural disasters.

Um...if you're serious, I think you might have missed the snark. I don't think it's a commentary on what actually happened in 2005, as much as a commentary on GWB's view of the events that transpired in 2005.
