since you've no comments here I thought I'd make one. As a district resident and not an employee of the school district but a member of the fire dept. I laughed my butt off when I saw them protesting in front of that building. These are the same people who moved within 500 feet of a fire house and then complained about the air horn. They were inconvienced? Were they scared? Phewshew! I hope it happens again. You don't move into a house with the train tracks in your backyard and then complain about the train but for some reason the people in that building thought it was fine to complain about the firehouse that certainly predated that building. Move along nothing to see here!
I agree. The complaint was stupid. Now, let's not compare apples and oranges. Also, you're using this as a reason to disparage all of the teachers of the district? Thank you for your service to the community as a fire fighter, but chill out.
...while we're on subject, at least the train tracks serve a practical purpose; unlike the antiquated concept of a fire alarm, which serves absolutely none.
oh no i wasn't trying to disparage the teachers at all. I agree that they have a right to negotiate and I think it's ridiculous that the popular Dr. doesn't have time.
Are you sure the horn doesn't serve a purpose? Or does it just not serve a purpose to you?

P.S. - "Phewshew"! (huh?)
