I do not know what the words you use mean because I am Christian, but I will say a prayer for that baby and ask for a speedy recovery. Could you please pray for my grandmother who will undergo surgery for uterine cancer and for my friend who has just been told she only has a few weeks more to live.
May God continue to bless us ALL and help us to remember we are ALL His children, in spite of our differences.

Also, I am not trying to be exclusive in any way, shape or form by using the hebrew terms - I just have never been asked for definitions before, so it didn't occur to me to provide them. I will do my best to do so in the future.

I didn't think you were trying to be exclusive. I'm sorry if my note sounded that way. I enjoy learning new words, so keep using them- but please give the definitions..I think it's wonderful that we can learn from each other. I hope someday that this community will talk to each other with kindness and respect as an everyday occurence, instead of coming together only when there is sadness. Please let that family know that everyone in this community prays for the health of their baby.

I just found out who this is and I'm terrified for the family. I hope everyone will at least say a few k'pittal (passages) of t'hillim. I know the baby's entire extended family very well. I also know that they do many hidden gemilat chassodim (good deeds) for complete strangers who have no idea where the assistance is coming from. Please respond in kind!!
