Not So Tearful Goodbyes
Took my kids to the bus stop for camp this morning. I know it's embarassing for them to have to hug the 'rents in front of their friends, but I kinda wish they would have at least pretended they were going to miss me. Still, I guess it beats their counselors having to pry them off me, hysterically sobbing, like some of their fellow campers.

Now you can enjoy the peace and quiet. Until they call you on their cell phones.
kids go to camp with cell phones?
BTW, your camp link is broken.
I have heard about this from nieces and nephews, beleive it or not.
My kids don't go with cell phones. But I already got a call from one on a counselors cell.
I hope your kids have a great summer and all, but I'm still waiting for the heroine of the day.
Sorry, OM.That was my obnoxious husband ,not me.
Do your kids go to camps with two visiting days? I heard of one that has visiting day next Sunday! As if being away for a week and a half is unbearable, but I suspect it's so that you can bring more stuff up for them, in case you couldn't fit everything in their duffels/trunks etc. Ya know, so you can do more shopping and have one more opportunity to use that beloved laundry marker. :)
