I didnt really think they were close. ;)
I have no problem with a purim shpiel. I think it was tasteless to have a small obit article for Rabbi Blumencrantz right on the same page. I think if anyone in that office had thought about it for two minutes they would have rearranged the placement of the articles. But apparently no one did. Purim shpiel on the front page;good. Serious piece;good. Together;tasteless.
